     On the afternoon of September 20th, Mr. Alan Boyce and Mr. Cliff Yeats from WITT arrived at our school on their 4-day inspection of the foreign English teachers’ regular teaching and school activities. Throughout the 2-day inspection of the foreign teachers’ classes, they gave their evaluations and direction on the teaching activities. They also had a very informative meeting with the Headmaster of No. 1 Yichang Senior High School Mr. Tao, where they discussed educational matters.
     Since FEC began at the school in 2004, WITT has paid visits to our school each semester. Both Mr. Boyce and Mr. Yeats monitored the foreign teachers’ class rooms, lesson planning and community activities, and were very impressed and pleased, with what they saw.
     The foreign teachers are very well received in both the school and community. Students enjoy their English classes and the parents are very happy with the results.
     Yichang No.1 Senior High School employs five foreign English teachers, two of whom have worked here for more than a year.  Another three are new-comers but have adjusted to teaching at the high school with the help of the English group leader, Mr. Zhu.
