On November 8th, our school received some good news that Mr.Wu Qinghua ,a young teacher of our school,had gained first prize in the National High School Excellent Mathematics Class Competition for Young Teachers . Wu is the 4th winner to gain first prize of the national competition from our school.
The competition was held at Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province.Wenzhou ,the well-known birthplace of Su Buqing and Gu Chaohao(two famous mathsmaticians of China),is famous for her private enterprises and small merchandise now.There were about 1,500 people attending this competition.(The 3rd Casio Cup National HighSchool Excellent Mathsmatics Class Competition).
Last year,Wu was the first prize winner in Hubei Provincial High School Excellent Mathematics Class Competition for Young Teachers.This time he represented Hubei province in the competition.The subject of his class is hyperbola and their normal equation, further more, all Experts and judges at the competition spoke highly of Wu`s class.
Zhang Jianyue, the vice-dean of People`s Education Press praised Wu's advanced educational ideas, creative teaching plan with wonderful design. The class and audience felt much apprieciation from Mr. Wu's teaching.
