  On the Fool`s Day of this year,with the solicitude of our school leaders, the branch of Communist Youth League of our school organized  young teachers to go for a walk at Longpan Lake ,which is in the countryside of  the east part of our city.
  Although it was raining hard when we started by school-bus from our school,none of us lost any interest in going on this excursion.Before we reached our destinaton,we talked with each other loudly and vigorously,and sang some pop-songs together for several minutes.Cheers could be heard now and then in the bus.
  Luckily the rain stopped when we arrived at Longpan lake.Longpan Lake looked like a huge blue  gem. Aound  the lake were green grass and trees,with beautiful flowers here and there.From a distant edge of the wheat field , the sweet singing of cuckoo could be heard .We chose a large piece of grass to have a rest,some sitting down on the grass to have something to drink or eat,some just lying down on the grass  with two eyes appreciating at floating clouds in the blue sky.The air was strangely fresh with a mixed smell of live fish and the perfume of the flowers.Every one of us felt relaxed and comfortable!
 We remained there for a whole day , enjoying the god-given leisure until the dark .
